- Goldenrod Manor Care Center is a
private-owned Skilled Nursing Facility serving our community since
1978. Short term rehabilitation or long term care are provided
at Goldenrod Manor. We are licensed by the State for Medicare and
Medicaid and are certified by the State for Respite Care (Adult Day
Care). We are able to bill the Elderly Waiver for those who
need financial assistance.
- Physical, Occupational and Speech
therapies are provided by the professionals of the Clarinda Regional
Hospital.
- Our mission statement: to provide the
highest quality services to each resident through employing only
professional, caring staff. Our goal: to meet the spiritual, physical,
social and emotional needs of each individual while encouraging
rehabilitation and self-reliance.
- Our open-door policy encourages
communication among residents, families and staff members. We are well
known in the area for our homelike environment and professional
staff.
Westridge
Quality Care and Rehab
Westridge Quality care is a complete care facility. We provide
short-term, respite, and long term care. We are a skilled facility,
the only one in Clarinda or Shenandoah. We provide private and
semi-private rooms, rehab and therapy departments, and outpatient
rehab. We are also Medicare and Medicaid approved. Staff

CLARINDA
REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER
The
Clarinda Regional Health Center
is a 25-bed
Critical
Access
Hospital
offering general medicine and surgical services, which has been serving
southwestern
Iowa
since 1939. The
health
Center
is owned by the City of
Clarinda
, but is governed by a separate Board of Trustees, elected by the
residents of Clarinda.
Two
rural health clinics are operated by the
Health
Center
in cooperation with the Medical Staff. One is located in
Bedford
,
Iowa
, 20 miles east of Clarinda, and is staffed one morning a week by
physicians from Clarinda Medical Associates, as well as 1 morning per week
by a physician’s assistant. Another rural clinic is operating in
Villisca
,
Iowa
, 15 miles north of Clarinda. It is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner
five days a week and in addition, an internal medicine physician from
Clarinda Medical Associates is there one day per week.
The
Health
Center
is proud of the level of ancillary services it provides such as;
Radiology, Laboratory, Respiratory, Physical, Occupational and Speech
Therapies, Cardiopulmonary Rehab Services; Emergency and Surgical
Services. We also offer a full compliment of Outreach Clinics
including the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Cardiology,
Oncology, OB/GYN, Urology, Gastroenterology, Ear-Nose-Throat, Pulmonology,
EMG/NCVs and Allergy. Page Home Care, a department of CRHC, offers a
full range of Home Health Services to residents of Clarinda and the
surrounding communities.
